While running around town checking out the varied sights of this city, which was once called “The Paris of South America”, you will need to find a good place to lay your head each night. The following list will provide a few different options at various price points of places that you can stay in Buenos Aires.

Temporary Apartments 

A great option, if you are going to be staying a week or longer, is to consider renting an apartment. If you take the apartment for a week you can get a better price than a hotel and feel a lot more like a local. There are a variety of well decked out studios, one bedrooms, and even penthouses apartments available complete with WIFI, kitchens and even sometimes pools and doorman. Studios start at around $180 US per week.

Hotels

A few nights in Buenos Aires possibly would be best spent in a nice plush hotel. One option is the Home Hotel is centred in Palermo which is where you will find great night life, restaurants, and trendy boutiques. The hotel bar has its own Friday night pool parties and serves up great high end cocktails.

Bed & Breakfasts

Hostels 

Hostels provide inexpensive private rooms and shared dorms for $10 bucks which leaves travelers plenty of money for steak dinners and nights on the town. A few of the best hostels include. Palermo House is a hostel that mixes in a faded, classic elegance and modern design with a friendly, great staff. Centred again in Palermo, the centre of fun Buenos Aires, this hostel has a spacious kitchen and common rooms. WIFI is provided, computers and plenty of DVDs and games, breakfast is served each morning. The cost is $13 USD for a dorm room and $30 dollars for a private room.

Art Factory Hostel is a fun hostel that charges $20 USD a night for its bright, decorative decor. This new hostel, with new amenities is located in San Telmo which is near the heart of historic Buenos Aires.
